Amy Braithwaite was unemployed for four years before signing up to a Traineeship with South and City College Birmingham and Birmingham City Council. The scheme has now allowed her to secure a full-time Apprenticeship
Rebecca Long worked in the hotel and bar industry for five years before going on to run her own sports massage and remedial therapy business. She returned to college to study a HND in business and marketing going on to achieve a distinction grade and is completing a top-up course at university whilst continuing to run her business part-time.
Natalie Segelov first came to South and City College Birmingham to study BTEC Fashion and Textiles Level 3, after completing the course she went onto study a Higher National Diploma. Along with her studies Natalie has undertaken a number of work placements gained through contacts our tutors have in the industry. Natalie has already secured a full time job when she completes her course in the summer and will be working as a seamstress at the global brand, House of Genius.
