British Military Security (BMS) is a commercial security organisation that offer close protection, man guarding, event security and venue security. They have worked with a number of Blue Chip clients that include British Athletics, Taylor Wimpey, Highways Agency and the Commonwealth Games in Glasgow 2014. Their apprentices are now playing key roles within the business.
Mohamed Awabdi has been a student with South and City College for three years and is currently studying an extended diploma in construction. Mohamed recently took part in a two week work placement with Wates Construction.

Catherine Orsborn was working at a restaurant for three years before being offered an apprenticeship as part of the kitchen team. She is now in the process of completing it at Harlestone Heath Restaurant at the Wyevale Garden Centre i Northamptonshire.
Joseph Ellis has completed his apprenticeship in business administration and has now got a full time job as a Food Net Administrator at Birmingham Community Healthcare Trust, St Patrick’s Centre for Community Health.
East End Foods has been running for over 40 years. Their predominant clients are other businesses, e.g. restaurants, corner shops, and pubs. Right now they have six apprentices working for them. Two of the apprentices completed their apprenticeship two years ago and have now progressed to supervisors.
