Winsor Education is an established educational institute based in Birmingham which offers courses from English Language to Government funded courses.
Benson is a member of the Handsworth Consortium of Schools. The school is one of the oldest in the area and has been in Birmingham, since the 1800s. Currently there are 11 classes based in the main school building and a nursery located next to the school. The school is very fortunate to have a large playing field and three playgrounds. Within the school, they have a brand new ICT suite and each classroom has its own interactive whiteboard.

They have worked with a number of Blue Chip clients that include British Athletics, Taylor Wimpey, Highways Agency and the Commonwealth Games in Glasgow 2014. Their apprentices are now playing key roles within the business.
East End Foods has been running for over 40 years. Their predominant clients are other businesses, e.g. restaurants, corner shops, and pubs. Right now they have six apprentices working for them. Two of the apprentices completed their apprenticeship two years ago and have now progressed to supervisors.
Aquarius is a Midlands based charity that has been running for over 40 years. They started in 1946, helping people with alcohol, drugs and gambling addictions. They currently have 220 staff with a turnover of seven million pounds. They are looking to expand beyond the Midlands in the future.
Imaginative Minds is an independent, online catalogue of books and resources. They specialise in products that raise standards of teaching and learning using critical and creative thinking. They started recruiting apprentices with South and City College this year, but have always considered apprentices to be part of the business’ long term future plans for further growth and success.
Baldwins Lane Garage is an independent, family run car, MOT, service, and repair garage based in Hall Green Birmingham. The garage offers MOTs, servicing and repair for all types of vehicles and started recruiting apprentices with South and City College in 2011. Apprentices are now part of the business’ long term future plans.
Wan Yu Europe Ind. Co Ltd, is a family based import and export business based in Tyseley, Birmingham. They import and export items ranging from toys to traditional Chinese furniture. They started recruiting apprentices with South and City College Birmingham in 2013. The two apprentices George Mobley and Benjamin Emerson, 19 and 20 respectively, now help develop and assist with the company’s social media.
Midland Heart is a leading national housing and care association that helps transform lives and communities through housing, care and more. In 2010, Midland Heart launched a campaign to recruit local disadvantaged people into apprenticeship jobs.
