A new course in Business will be on offer from September 2020 at our women-only centre in Small Heath.
The College has decided to expand the range of courses on offer at its unique campus, which caters specifically for female students. The Golden Hillock centre, which has capacity for 800 students, has in the past only offered courses in Childcare, Health and Social Care and English.
‘Our research has shown that there is demand for business courses in the local area. This is not surprising as the local economy is largely made up of small family-run businesses which are often passed down generations. Our course provides a solid foundation on which to build a career in business.’ Mike Hopkins, Principal, commented.
Business is a very flexible and lucrative career, which offers individuals various specialist paths from accounting and human resources, to marketing and management. Our Extended Certificate in Business course is highly practical and gives an overview of all of the above areas, allowing students to get a good grounding in this field, as well as opportunities for specialism and progression. It is an excellent route to many jobs and careers.
