Your role allows you to make a positive impact on individuals requiring extra help and support.
You will gain knowledge and skills in essential areas such as communication, personal development, equality and inclusion, the responsibilities of health and social care workers, and the application of person-centred approaches in the field of health and social care.
You must already be working in a paid or voluntary capacity in a health and social care setting for a minimum of 12 hours per week. You will also need to complete an initial assessment of your numeracy and literacy skills.
Successful completion of this course could see you progress within your chosen career to a more senior role or you may wish to continue to a higher level course or qualification.
