About the course

You will study a variety of areas which include music sequencing, remixing and production, music arranging and studio mixing. You will have the opportunity to learn how to create music using a DAW and record in the music studio. You will also study an essential digital skills qualification to support your digital skills.

What do I need?

Students wishing to apply for the course will be interviewed and previous skills and experiences taken into account. In addition, it is expected you will have the following qualifications:
• Minimum of Level 1 Functional Skills in English
• 3 GCSEs at grade 3
• Level 1 qualification in music or any other subject

Where can I progress next?

You could embark on an exciting career by progressing to employment or an Apprenticeship. Depending on your skills and previous qualifications you may be eligible to progress to a Level 3 course and further your knowledge.
