About the course

This course will provide you with knowledge on legislation, tightness testing, pipework requirements and ventilation. These skills will help to improve your competency as a plumber, giving you the option to study another course or look for employment.

• Domestic gas supply systems
• Central heating systems

What do I need?

You'll need a Diploma in Plumbing Level 2, literacy and numeracy at Level 3. You’ll be initially assessed at an interview.

Where can I progress next?

You could progress onto a higher education course such as a HND or HNC qualification, or find employment in the plumbing trade. You could take a short course to become Gas Safe registered or concentrate on green technology.

Is this course free?

This course is part of the government funded Lifelong Learning Guarantee and is available free of charge to adult learners aged 19+ without a first full level 3 qualification.
