You will be introduced to the world of construction at our dedicated training facility based at our Bordesley Green Campus. The campus has full-scale workshops, where you will be taught by qualified, experienced staff that have all had industry based experience within their vocational areas. They will guide and assist you in your learning and help you to fully understand the particulars of this profession. State of the art workshops, equipped with professional quality tools, means that you will be learning in an environment which simulates a real-life building site. You will be continuously assessed throughout the course, this will involve both practical and theoretical aspects to enable you to complete unit assessments on-line and practical assessments at the end of each unit. 16-19 year old learners are also required to attend English and maths lessons, either as a Functional Skill or GCSE, unless they are exempt and have previously attained a GCSE grade A-C. They are also required to attend tutorial sessions, which provides a full learning experience and contributes to the Study Programme Framework.
