Accident Repair Body & Paint Principles Diploma
Whether it is accident repair, modification or bespoke paintwork, the Level 3 Diploma in Accident Repair and Paint Refinishing could be the course for you. With increasing demand for body and paint technicians in the automotive industry, this qualification will equip you with all the knowledge and skills that you need to get your career off the ground. Your practical ability and your theoretical knowledge will be assessed through practical observations and Online, multiple choice assessments.

• Preparing metal work and pre-painted surfaces
• Repairing paint defects, as well as colour match
• Metallic and pearl effect
• Plastic and spot repairs
• Repairing and replacing large body panels

You will have already completed a Level 2 Diploma in Accident Repair Body and Paint Principles to be able to enrol on this course.
You will be qualified in both disciplines of Body Repair and Paint Refinishing which will make you more attractive to employers. Your next step would be to progress into employment working within the automotive industry working for a leading employer in Accident Repair or venture off on your own, running your own workshop.
This course is part of the government funded Lifelong Learning Guarantee and is available free of charge to adult learners aged 19+ without a first full level 3 qualification.
