Level 2 functional skills qualifications will improve your career options. You’ll be able to apply for jobs in careers such as; nursing, teaching, policing, the fire service and many more. You’ll also be able apply for higher education courses, apprenticeships and training courses.
About the course
If you want to improve your English and maths skills to increase your chances of promotion or to enhance your CV then Functional Skills Level 2 will give you a nationally recognised qualification. You will cover the English and maths skills needed to further your education and use in the workplace.

What do I need?
You must have previously achieved a level 1 in maths and English or grade E / 1
Where can I progress next?
These qualifications will enable you to complete further study or gain employment. Many students progress onto our Access to Higher Education Courses
