This is a vocational course that will give you the opportunity gain an understanding of what this industry has to offer. You will study a range of different subjects and take part in various visits and talks to advance your learning about the Aviation industry and Tourism Destinations and Organisations. You will establish customer service skills and experience various airport processes. You will be assessed in a range of different ways such as coursework, presentations, and practical assessments, all of which will build up to achieving a qualification at Level 2. In addition, to further support your course you will have the opportunity to take part in UK day visits, industry workshops and a residential trip (UK or overseas), as well as take part in industry work experience opportunities, such as the Holiday Inn Hotel Takeover or work at the Burlington Hotel.

To study on this programme, you will need 5 x GCSEs at Grade 3 or 2 (D/E) one of which should be English, or a Level 1 vocational qualification.
Following successful completion of the course, you will be able to progress onto a Level 3 qualification or pursue a career in Customer Service, Travel and Tourism or the Aviation Industry.
