You will also have to complete work experience in a relevant setting, providing you with the opportunity to put theory into practice and develop your practical skills.

To enrol on this course, you will have achieved Grade 1 or 2 in GCSE English and maths
Achievement of this qualification demonstrates to an employer that you have the necessary technical skills and knowledge they are looking for when recruiting for positions such as: healthcare assistant, care assistant, childcare worker/assistant. You can also progress onto further study through the Level 3 Technical Extended Diploma in Health and Social Care.
