This qualification has a practical approach to assessment and includes many visual questioning techniques, which will stimulate and interest students. The learning outcomes are assessed by a variety of task-based assessments, observations, oral questioning and online assessments. The PSD Award is also part of this pathway that you will study. The course is designed to run over 1 year completing Level 1 in the first year and going onto Level 2 in the second year. As part of your programme you may be expected to also study maths and English.
Within this Qualification there are generic units to complete which will equate to the Level 1 Diploma in Vehicle Maintenance. This course specialises in the basic maintenance of Light Vehicles. It is an ideal starting point for people that seek a career in the motor industry. Some of the units include:

There are no specific entry requirements, however you will undertake an assessment in English and maths.
Once you have completed all the modules you can then progress onto the Level 2 Diploma in Motorcycle.
