Access to HE courses are designed as an alternative to A Levels. Access courses are a one year, Level 3 programme of study and are designed to prepare students for study at university. They are aimed at people who would like to study at degree level, but who left school without the usual qualifications, such as A Levels. Many Access to HE students go on to succeed at university and beyond, with a large number of students pursuing new careers in a variety of subjects. At the end of the course, you can progress to university to study a range of teaching or related degrees, including History and English.
Due to the current COVID-19 situation and with health and safety of our students as a priority, we have redesigned this course to include a mixture of classroom-based and online learning.
