Access to Higher Education (Engineering)
This QAA (Quality Assurance Agency) approved programme is for people who wish to study for a degree at university, but do not have the required entry qualifications. It has been designed for students who have been away from studying for some time but have gained indusrty experience.
Access courses are a one year, Level 3 programme of study and are designed to prepare students with industry experience, for study at university.
They are aimed at people who would like to study at degree level, but who left school without the usual qualifications, such as A Levels. Many Access students go on to succeed at university and beyond, with a large number of students pursuing new careers in a variety of subjects.
