Access to Higher Education - Health Online
This Quality Assurance Agency (QAA) approved programme is for people who wish to take health related courses at university, but do not have the required entry qualifications. It has been designed for students who have been away from studying for some time.
Access to HE courses are designed as an alternative to A Levels. At the end of the course students go on to university to study a range of health related degrees or diplomas, such as nursing, midwifery or physiotherapy etc.
This course is entirely online through the Pearl Platform and you can log in and study at time convenient to you.
Due to the current COVID-19 situation and with health and safety of our students as a priority, we have redesigned this course to include a mixture of classroom-based and online learning.
What areas will I study?
All students on the Access to Health Studies course will take the following modules:
- Health studies
- Skills for learning
- Psychology Help with study skills, computing and maths will be available and all students have weekly tutorials with their personal tutor.
