Art and Design Extended Diploma
The Art and Design Extended Diploma Level 3 is a practical, work related course.
This course has been designed to provide the skills, knowledge and understanding necessary to progress to a higher-level study in art and design, or into employment.
It provides an opportunity for those who have an interest in the arts to develop and test creativity which is interesting and provides a transition from further to higher education.

Students produce work which investigates and develops students' creativity and theoretical knowledge of art and design. The course also promotes employability and life skills. This is a well-respected route to Higher Education and employment. Students are also able to apply for Advanced Apprenticeships after the course.
In year 2, there is an emphasis on students choosing a specialist career choice in the creative industries. Students produce both a specialist portfolio of their practical art & design project work and a final exhibition showcasing their work.
