Summary

The New Generation Diploma has been designed to provide a broad education as a basis for further training, education or moving into employment.

Description

The qualification ensures that students develop the general skills, knowledge and understanding that underpin a range of occupations or professions. The qualification provides the knowledge, understanding and skills that allows you to gain business sector experience that will prepare you for further study or training. This includes the opportunity to choose two units from a selection of options to supplement the mandatory units which reflect the key topics in business.

There are 4 mandatory units that you must complete, 2 internal and 2 external units which consist of two exams. You must complete and achieve at pass grade or above for all these units.

What Next

The qualification carries, UCAS points and is recognised by higher education providers as contributing to meeting admissions requirements to many relevant business Foundation degrees and HND’s.

Entry Criteria

5 GCSE’s grade C or above including English or Maths at level 5. There will be a free writing assessment.
