Level 3 Computing with Web, App and Data, Management (1 Year course for Adults)
Overview
This one year course will fast-track your skills and knowledge in some of the key areas in the digital and IT sector - data, coding and the web - so that you can apply for work or study further technical skills at Level 4.
Course description
You will learn data skills quickly - including how to handle data, validate and verify data input and have an understanding of normalisation and how data is stored and troubleshot issues with data storage.
You will develop skills in front-end web development, including not only designing and coding a webesite, but communication skills with clients, the impact of design decisions and WCAG guidelines.
Due to the current COVID-19 situation and with health and safety of our students as a priority, we have redesigned this course to include a mixture of classroom-based and online learning.
What areas will I study?
For 2020/21, this course will be delivered through blended learning, a combination of studying online and attending college for workshops and face-to-face delivery in small groups.
