Level 2 IT and Digital Skills for Adults for the Workplace (September-January)
This 18 week course will equip you with the essential software and IT skills needed for today's workplace and business environment in every industrial area.
It is offered in two intakes, running from September to end January and then from February until the end of June for 2020/21 and will consist of 8 hours a week of study with a blend of on-site learning as well as online delivery.
If you already have a very basic level of IT, this course builds on those existing skills or those you will have either from a Level 1 ITQ qualification. You will increase your skills and knowledge with popular software applications used in every organisation, such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Access which will provide you with the assets you need for work in today's workplaces.
As well as essentials like more advanced use of Word and email, you will learn software skills in two very key areas, spreadsheets and databases which will give you the edge when you are applying for jobs or becoming self employed.
Due to the current COVID-19 situation and with health and safety of our students as a priority, we have redesigned this course to include a mixture of classroom-based and online learning.
