IT Professionals - Level 2 Award in IT Systems and Principles
Overview
This is a comprehensive 18 week PC systems support and networking course covering troubleshooting and basic systems support for hardware, corporate software and network infrastructure. You will explore the essential skills in building, installing, configuring and troubleshooting different types of PC hardware systems and networks. You will also develop skills in customer care and support.
It is offered twice during the year.
Course description
This course offers an engaging programme for those who want to have a career in IT support. It will extend knowledge, skills and understanding of this area of work and you will study a range of units to develop skills, knowledge and understanding of working in systems support. The course is delivered through tutorials in our excellent computing facilities, packed with the latest hardware and software to enable you to develop advanced knowledge of the areas you cover.
Due to the current COVID-19 situation and with health and safety of our students as a priority, we have redesigned this course to include a mixture of classroom-based and online learning.
