Carpentry & Joinery Diploma
This course is ideal for anyone who has completed the Level 1 course, or would like to develop their basic skills already gained through work.
Why not broaden your knowledge of carpentry and joinery and the requirements to become a professional in this trade?
You can focus on either carpentry or bench joinery. You'll learn about setting up and operating a circular saw, carcassing, first and second fixing, and carpentry maintenance/repairs.

Our construction centre is the perfect place for you to develop your skills and knowledge of the carpentry and joinery professions. You will benefit from fully equipped workshops with industry standard equipment, and tutors, who have a wealth of industry experience, to help you get to grips with this fast-paced industry.
The college regularly competes at regional and national competitions, and you will be able to showcase your skills as part of our competition squad. Your learning will also be supported and extended through regular visits from construction companies and other educational visits.
