This course will give you the knowledge and skills to work in a joinery workshop manufacturing timber based products.

Course description

A bench joiner works in a workshop manufacturing timber based products like doors, windows, stairs and kitchens cabinets. A site carpenter would then install. A joiner will also prepare and machine his own timber, therefore they will need to opperate a number of woodworking machines suc as a circular saw, planer thicknesser, mortice machine and moulding machines.

Due to the current COVID-19 situation and with health and safety of our students as a priority, we have redesigned this course to include a mixture of classroom-based and online learning.
