Construction jobs involve a great deal more than what you see on a building site. There is a huge range of career choices in the industry. These involve designing, planning and project management, as well as doing the hands-on, practical work.

This two year course will provide you with an introduction to a range of technical and professional occupations such as architecture, estimating, surveying, site engineering, building control and town planning.

Course description

This course is perfect for anyone looking to extend their knowledge of construction in general. You will study the theory skills that will get you up to speed with the construction industry and help you to progress to a higher level.

As well as learning about the construction industry, you will develop the skills you need to start a career in the technical or management side of the industry. You will be taught by tutors that have a wealth of industry experience, meaning that you get expert advice and guidance, right from the start of your course.

Due to the current COVID-19 situation and with health and safety of our students as a priority, we have redesigned this course to include a mixture of classroom-based and online learning.
