This course is focussed purely on periodic inspection & testing. This course is intended specifically for experienced electricians or electrical installers.

Description

This qualification is ideal for existing contractors who already have a good understanding of inspection and testing and wish to carry out electrical condition reports. Ideally you will have already completed the Initial Verification course (if not candidates are required to sit a bridging assessment, fee payable) entry requirements are that all students attending must hold a valid 17th Edition qualification.

Candidates can use their own instruments providing they bring in a current calibration certificate. The assessment consists of a series of practical assessments and an online exam. Candidates will require a calculator, pen, notebook and a copy of BS 7671 and Guidance Note 3 (2015).

Entry Criteria

You must be qualified to level 3 in electrical installation and hold the City & Guilds 17th Edition to enrol for this course.
