This course covers components which go to make up a fire alarm system. The points to be considered are intended to highlight the variables which can exist and need to be considered whilst designing and compiling a specification for component parts.

Before enrolling on this course, you must have completed the Unit 1, the fundamental course in Fire Detection & Fire Alarm Systems BS 5839 Part 1 & 6. Candidates should be familiar with electrical system design and ideally already be working within the industry.
