This course is an ideal entry route into the electrical services industry and designed for those who need to work GCSE English and maths.

Course description

You will learn the basics of how to install electrical wiring systems, inspect and test electrical installations, provide technical information to customers and how to maintain a safe working environment. This course is essential to those wishing to become electrical installation engineers.

A Skills Development and Employability programme will develop your organisational skills, time-management and team-working skills in addition to the many more skills employers seek in the construction sector.

What are the entry requirements?

You will be required to attend and work towards English and/or maths grade 4 as part of your study programme.

All students will also be required to attend and satisfactorily complete a formal induction period.

Where can I progress to next?

You can progress to the Diploma in Electrical Installation Level 3 (2365) course at the College, seek entry level employment or start an Apprenticeship.
