Overview

This course is an ideal entry route into the electrical services industry and designed for those who need to work GCSE English and maths.

As an electrical engineer, you'll design, develop and maintain electrical control systems and components to required specifications.

Course description

You will learn the basics of how to install electrical wiring systems, inspect and test electrical installations, provide technical information to customers and how to maintain a safe working environment. This course is essential to those wishing to become electrical installation engineers.

A Skills Development and Employability programme will develop your organisational skills, time-management and team-working skills in addition to the many more skills employers seek in the construction sector.

By undertaking the Level 2 Diploma over two years, you will also complete GCSE maths and English, which are now essential requirements for a career in the electrical installation industry.
