Manufacturing in the Fashion Industry Diploma
This course would be perfect for somebody who wants to set-up a new business in manufacturing clothing.
We will teach you how to make garments and how they would follow the manufacturing process from conception through to completed garment on the rail.
This will include: under pressing and pressing, lay plans and cutting processes.
During this course student will cover how to set up and promote a business through social media, setting up an Instagram account and creating a range of promotional materials.

This course is designed for learners who want to develop skills in garment manufacturing, this will help to prepare students for work within the manufacturing sector of the clothing industry which could include setting up your own small business. The course will cover creating the components involved in the making of industry standard garments, including tailored jackets and trousers. The supply and manufacturing side of the UK fashion and textiles sector makes £11.8 billion a year and accounts for 79,000 businesses and 340,000 jobs. This course will take you from design to the final outcome, with use of specialist technology in the fashion industry.
Due to the current COVID-19 situation and with health and safety of our students as a priority, we have redesigned this course to include a mixture of classroom-based and online learning.
