Overview

Having even a basic understanding of ICT – Information and Communications Technology – can open up more opportunities in the workplace, whether you’re working in a shop, an office or anywhere inbetween.

This course is ideal for anyone who is thinking about a career using media or computers. It will give you a good introduction to both media and IT. It is a great base from which to develop your knowledge and skills.

Course description

Most employers today expect their staff to be able to use a computer, and technology is a tool that can empower you and help you succeed.

You will be taught by tutors who have years of experience, who will combine theory and practice enabling you to develop high-level skills and knowledge. Industry visits and work experience opportunities will enhance your learning, and help you to understand how to apply what you learn to a range of business sectors.

Due to the current COVID-19 situation and with health and safety of our students as a priority, we have redesigned this course to include a mixture of classroom-based and online learning.
