Intermediate Apprenticeship Adult Care Worker
This apprenticeship will provide you with the knowledge to give specialist care and attention, including personal care to a variety of people and ages who have support needs. You need to be working within one organisation or hospital or may be based within the community.
You will work towards the Level 2 Diploma for Health and Social Care as well as developing a reflective journal of practice. Learning will be a mixture of on and off the job training and you will be required to attend college as agreed with the employer. You will also have the opportunity to improve maths and English to Level 1 if you do not already have the GCSEs in A - C or Grade 4 or above.
The new "end point assessment" is provided by an independent assessment organisation.
