L3 Certificate in Preparing to work in Adult Social Care (Stonebridge On-Line)
This qualification provides an ideal taster for adults who may be new to the sector or new to the world of work. It is accessible to students who may want to understand more about working in health and social care in an unsupervised capacity. It aims to introduce some basic concepts of caring and preparation for employment in the sector.
This qualification is available to study fully online with access to tutor support.
It is accessible to jobseekers who are eligible for employment and apprenticeship programmes, adult returners to work or those undergoing a career change and who may want to understand more about working in health and social care.
The qualification aims to introduce some basic concepts of caring and preparation for employment in the sector. The qualification covers the areas of communication, equality, diversity and inclusion, personal development, role of the social care worker, handling information, health and safety, safeguarding, duty of care and person-centred approaches.
Due to the current COVID-19 situation and with health and safety of our students as a priority, we have redesigned this course to include a mixture of classroom-based and online learning.
What areas will I study?
