BTEC National Extended Diploma in Music Performance Level 3
The music industry has never been so exciting. There are so many opportunities and many different avenues that you can follow in music. Everything from working on live music events and festivals, working for a record label, being an artist manager, though to writing and composing music, performing live on stage, being a session player in a recording studio, producing music and releasing your own tracks on streaming sites. The possibilities are endless and more importantly, the course will work around what you want to focus on.

When studying music performance at our Longbridge campus (Bournville College), you will be educated in a very new and exciting way – you will work for our record label COGNITO MUSIC. Your course will be delivered in a very practical and vocational context in working for the label within the job you are most focused on in the music industry. This is a two-year programme and you will need to pass both years to obtain the full qualification.

Due to the current COVID-19 situation and with health and safety of our students as a priority, we have redesigned this course to include a mixture of classroom-based and online learning.
