Overview

This 2-year Extended Diploma will develop your knowledge and skills in computer science, computer systems and software design, and social media in business, enabling you to progress to further study in the computing or creative computing sectors.

Course description

This qualification is for learners who are interested in progressing to higher education. You will develop a common core of computing knowledge and study areas such as programming, managing support systems, systems analysis and design. These general computer sceince skills are added to by creative computing subjects such as digital graphics and animation and computer games development.

This qualification is equivalent to 3 A Levels, carries UCAS points and meets admission requirements to many relevant HE courses.
