Intermediate Apprenticeship in ICT Professionals
The Level 2 Diploma in ICT Professional Competence covers roles across the IT and System Support profession, including IT maintenance and security.
This apprenticeship has been designed to meet the needs of employers to either up-skill the workforce or recruit new talent. The Intermediate Apprenticeship in ICT Professionals consists of Level 2 Diploma in ICT Professional Competence, Level 2 Award in ICT Systems and Principles, Employment Rights and Responsibilities, Personal Learning and Thinking Skills and Functional Skills maths, English and ICT.
The Level 2 Diploma in ICT Professional Competence is portfolio-based with no exams. The portfolio is made up of units chosen to reflect the apprentices job role. The course contains a variety of different ICT skills including remote support for products and services, software installation and upgrade, system management, etc.
The Level 2 Award in ICT Systems and Principles can be a combination of assignments, exams and/or portfolio.
