Level 3 BTEC National Extended Diploma in Music Performance
The music industry has never been so exciting. There are so many opportunities and many different avenues that you can follow in music. Everything from working on live music events and festivals, working for a record label, being an artist manager though to writing and composing music, performing live on stage, being a session player in a recording studio, producing music and releasing your own tracks on streaming sites. The possibilities are endless and more importantly, the course will be about what you want to focus on.

Study music performance at Digbeth Campus to the have the opportunity to perform in our vibrant, working 600 capacity concert venue - The Crossing! The course will be delivered in a very practical and vocational context. Students will develop individual performance skills in addition to working with other performers on collaborative recording projects and performances.
Elements of compostion and music industry knowledge combine to make this an exciting course for future performers hoping to further a career in the music industry.
This is a two year programme and students will need to pass both years to obtain the full qualification.
Due to the current COVID-19 situation and with health and safety of our students as a priority, we have redesigned this course to include a mixture of classroom-based and online learning.
