Public Services Extended Diploma
This BTEC Level 3 Diploma is a practical, work-related, two-year course for students who are interested in learning more about the public services. You may be wanting to pursue a career in the Police, Fire Service, Army, RAF or Navy. You will learn by completing projects and assignments that are based on realistic workplace situations, activities and demands, and develop your leadership and teamwork skills by completing a range of activities.
Your student experience will be enhanced by our teaching staff who have strong academic and vocational backgrounds in public services.

You will gain a solid understanding of the skills and demands required for a career in the public services, learning about a range of subjects such as leadership, health and lifestyle, citizenship, politics and law.
You will have the opportunity to take part in activities which will enhance your understanding of a career in the industry; for example, opportunities to go on residential visits to develop team work and leadership skills, experiencing outdoor activities including water based, or meeting a range of guest speakers from the Army, Navy and the Police and participating in recruitment events.
