The BTEC Level 3 Extended Diploma is equivalent to 3 A levels.
This is a very interesting and vibrant course with lots of trips and visits to local attractions and hotels etc. There is a wide variety of industry input from Cabin Crew, Resort Reps, Hotel and Events Managers. Students will participate in guest lectures from industry speakers and will undertake work experience whilst studying on the programme.
There is a UK residential visit in the first year of the programme and an overseas visit in the second year of study. In the past these trips have included Butlins Minehead and the overseas visits have included Paris, Venice, Malta, Cyprus and Barcelona.
Students should have a keen interest in studying within this industry before undertaking the course.

Students who successfully complete this programme will be able to apply for our Hospitality and Tourism Management Foundation Degree (FdA). Alternatively, students can achieve direct employment opportunities in careers such as Travel Agents, Airlines, Cabin Crew, Rail, Coach Companies, Hotels and Events, Airports, Tour Operators or related areas such as Marketing or Human Resources.
