Once the full enrolment process has been completed you will receive a welcome email from the college

  • Do you send correspondence to my personal or student email account

We send information to both email accounts.

  • When will I receive my student ID badge

During main enrolment you will receive your ID badge once you have completed the enrolment process if enrolling onsite. Online enrolments will receive their badge during the first week of their course from the Cash Office.

  • What happens if I have a EHCP

If you have an EHCP and you have applied for a course, you should have ticked the box asking if you have an EHCP. It is vitally important that we know and have seen your EHCP before you are enrolled. When you are invited into the college to apply, you will be referred to Additional Learning Support (ALS) in the first instance. Please bring your EHCP with you so that the team can go through the report and ensure that we assess your needs appropriately. If you are enrolled and have forgotten to disclose that you have an EHCP, please let your tutor know immediately, so that they can refer you to ALS.

  • What happens if I haven't got an EHCP but received help at school

If you received help at school e.g. had support in exams (reader/writer/extra time), it is very important to let the college know. If you are applying for a course, it is important to state this on the application and bring any evidence you might have of this when you are invited in and/or attach to the application if you are able to do so. It is important that you speak to the team in Additional Learning Support (ALS) before you speak to the tutor, however the admissions team will probably arrange this for you when you apply. If you have already enrolled and forgot to disclose this, please ensure you tell your tutor immediately so that you can be referred to ALS. This will ensure that we have everything in place nice and early in your course if you are eligible for support.
