Looking to study with us in 2024? Our January courses may be the perfect way to do just that!  

Pop along to our January enrolment on Wednesday 10th January, 4pm – 6pm at our Digbeth & Longbridge campuses to make your right choice with South and City College Birmingham.  


WHAT IS JANUARY ENROLMENT?

Due to popularity in September, many of our courses are enrolling additional classes this January – and you could join them. You don’t need to register in advance or book a ticket, however, we do recommend setting a calendar reminder so that you arrive on time to avoid disappointment.  

We have a wide range of courses available this January in a variety of subjects and levels such as: Apprenticeships, Higher Education, Business & Professional studies and Computing that you can find out more information about.  

Please be aware that only our Digbeth & Longbridge campuses are open for January enrolment.

Our January courses are split across our campuses – with many of them being featured at our Digbeth and Longbridge sites. To view what we are offering by campus location simply pick your campus using our pre-filtered lists here:  

Please be aware: many of our January courses are suitable for adult learners, rather than school leavers. To avoid disappointment on the day, please visit our full January offer list to see what we have available that may be suitable for you.  

Interested in a course outside of Digbeth or Longbridge?  Apply online and you’ll be invited to a follow up event the following week on Wednesday 17th January to complete your enrolment.  


DO I NEED TO BRING ANYTHING WITH ME?

We may need to see identification evidence at enrolment. Acceptable evidence is shown below: 

Learners enrolling on courses will need to provide evidence from the list below: 
Passport Photo Driving Licence Identity Card or other form of National Identification National Insurance Card Bank/Debit/Credit Card 

Please note where course fees are required, these must be paid or evidence provided of loan application/or approval at enrolment. 

You may also be asked to provide evidence of the following…  

  • Proof of qualifications 
  • Benefit/household income documents if you are applying for financial support
  • Payment/bank details if you will be making a payment or paying by instalments 
  • Confirmation of your loan application and/or approval if you are funding your fees through and Advanced Learner Loan or Higher Education Loan 
  • National Insurance number if you are over 19 
  • Purchase order confirmation if your employer is paying fees 
  • If you are an asylum seeker, refugee or have a study Visa or any other Visa type covering your time in the UK, please bring this documentation with you.

Looking to enrol? Be sure to pop by either our Digbeth or Longbridge campuses on Wednesday 10th January between 4pm – 6pm to get enrolled with South & City College Birmingham.
