Our Open Day is fast approaching and we are excited to welcome lots of new faces to our eight different campuses across Birmingham.
We have over one hundred courses to choose from so if you’re looking for a great place to continue your education, come to our Open Day on Thursday 23rd November, 4-7pm.
There are some steps you need to follow in order for your Open Day experience to run smoothly. Have a look below to see what you need to do.

- Register: Use the link above to register online and book your free place at our Open Day.
- QR code: Once you have registered, you will receive a QR code. Make sure to keep this QR code safe and bring it to the Open Day with you.
- Remember the campus: When booking a place for Open Day, you will need to choose one of the eight campuses. Remember which campus you have booked and make sure to turn up at the correct one.
- Plan your journey: Before you come to our Open Day, plan your journey to your chosen campus. Think about how you’re getting here – Bus? Train? Car? Take a look at bus routes, train times and traffic data so that you have a smooth journey and arrive on time.
- Come prepared: There are lots of exciting opportunities at our Open Day, so see below for our top tips for helping you get the most out of our Open Day.
Open Days are the best way to find out more about South and City College Birmingham. By attending an Open Day you can learn more about the courses we offer, the facilities available, our fantastic teachers and staff and lots more.

Top tips for our Open Day
- Do your research: Make sure you take a look at our website and find out which campus offers the courses you’re interested in. Then you can find out which campus offers this course, and then you can register at that campus for our Open Day.
- Prepare questions: Our Open Days are the perfect way to find out more information about the college so it’s a great idea to ask lots of questions to the members of staff available on the day. These example questions are a good start: What grades do I need for this course? How can I apply to the college? What student support is available?
- Pick up a prospectus: We will have prospectuses available for you to take home at our Open Day. These are full of information about our college so make sure to pick one up.
- Check out our enrichment opportunities: College is super important for your learning and education, but the wider experience is important too! We want you to have an amazing time at SCCB, so check out all the fun enrichment activities we offer for our enrolled students.
- Explore your options: Finding a course can be overwhelming, so if you’re unsure about what path to take, take a look at the different courses available – explore, have fun and see what interests you.
