A Level results day is one of the most anticipated days for college students around the UK. It’s an exciting day full of mixed emotions, with students trying to figure out what to do next.

If you’re not too happy with your results, don’t worry, it’s not the end of the world and there are plenty of options to help you get back on track.

1. Retakes

Depending on your results, you will have the option to retake some of your exams in hope of achieving the grades you need. This could be your second chance to get onto the university course of your choice.

 2. Complete an Access course

If you haven’t gotten into university yet, it doesn’t mean you can’t next year. An Access to Higher Education course is an intensive learning course, giving you the theory equivalent to three A Levels, in just one year. Completing this can result in a university offer. Find out more about our Access courses here: https://www.sccb.ac.uk/courses/access-to-higher-education.

 3. Choose from our wide range of HE courses

Why spend a large amount of money on a university course when you can study the same HE course at our college with lower fees? With smaller and more focused classes, you can still achieve amazing results and career prospects. Find out more about our University Level courses here: https://www.sccb.ac.uk/courses/university-level.
