BLM 500x400 News

South & City College Birmingham stands in solidarity with the Black Lives Matters movement and commits to examine its own practices by listening to and learning from the experiences of its black staff and students. The College recognises the role that education has sometimes played in perpetuating racial division and inequality and will use its influence and reach, to challenge and eradicate racist attitudes and behaviour. We understand that racism is an issue for all of us and whilst what lies ahead may be uncomfortable, it is our duty to exercise our civic responsibilities by acknowledging the legacy of historical injustice and striving towards a new normality, where discrimination is not tolerated.
