We’re already in our first week of December and the countdown to Christmas has begun. Christmas trees are going up around our various campuses. Have you spotted any?
If you’re on the lookout for some fun Christmas activities around Birmingham, then look no further, we’ve got you covered.
Birmingham has once again brought Ice Skate Birmingham to Centenary Square for some festive ice skating. The ice rink is under cover so there’s no need to worry about the weather. Christmas lights bring a warm glow to the rink and Christmas tunes are played whilst you skate.
Birmingham’s Frankfurt Christmas Market is a must visit to get into the Christmas spirit. The stalls line the streets and pavements of Victoria Square and New Street and sell a variety of different things from food to handmade crafts. The perfect place to have a wander, grab a bite to eat or buy a Christmas gift.
This activity is completely FREE and is a great way to explore Birmingham city centre. Follow the map to find all ten snowdog sculptures around the city, inspired by the story The Snowman and the Snowdog. The map also shows some great attractions around Birmingham, as well as more Christmas activities.
The Birmingham Back to Backs are holding a festive celebration with carols, crafts and a tour of the houses. This will take place on Sunday 10th December, 6-8pm and will require booking.
We hope you enjoy these activities, but of course, don’t miss out on all the festive goodness at our college. Follow our Socials so you don’t miss our gifts to you!
