Overview

For many jobs you'll need to have a recognised qualification in English at Level 2. This course is for those who are already confident in using English. You'll broaden your vocabulary and improve your skills in reading, writing, speaking and listening. You will also prepare for academic study and develop basic IT and employability skills.

Course description

You'll work on improving your use of grammar and spelling in the context of report writing, writing notes, researching, taking part in discussions, speaking to groups of other people, reading text, listening for information and basic IT.

You will work on the skills you need to get a job or to move onto a vocational course or further academic study to prepare for employment. Your tutor will work with you to decide the most appropriate qualfication for you.

Due to the current COVID-19 situation and with health and safety of our students as a priority, we have redesigned this course to include a mixture of classroom-based and online learning.
