South & City Academy provides access to outstanding vocational facilities and learning pathways for ages 14+. It is conveniently located at our Longbridge (Bournville College) campus, which is in Longbridge town centre.

With different curriculum pathways and access to outstanding vocational facilities, our Academy is the ideal place for your child to study.

Our Academy curriculum consists of three pathways:

• Engineering and Technical Crafts
• Health Sciences
• Physical Education
• Art and Design

These pathways offer students the chance to gain skills and qualifications in their chosen field, and also participate in enrichment activities that complement their studies. In addition, we provide relevant industry placements which give students a deeper insight into their chosen career path, and prepare them for the world of work.

After key stage 4 our Academy students can progress onto a wide range of college and university courses at South & City College Birmingham, or elsewhere.

South & City Academy is rated ‘Good’ by Ofsted. In particular, it was praised for its broad and balanced curriculum, strong and productive relationships between staff and pupils, and for the progress pupils make in a safe learning environment.
