There are lots of ways to get involved and have your say regarding student life and other important topics.
If you want to get involved in student life and have your say, here’s how:
Learner Voice: Representatives are elected by students and meet with college staff throughout the year to report on the issues that affect you.
Principal’s Question Time: Your chance to meet with our Principal, Mike Hopkins. His Q&A sessions are held throughout the year.
Complaints: We take complaints and feedback seriously. To find out more or make a complaint, please click here
When you enrol at South & City College Birmingham, you automatically become a member of our Students’ Union (SU). Its role is to support you and your fellow students during your college journey, and help to make your voice heard.
Our Students’ Union Committee is made up of students from across all our campuses who are there to represent your needs and interests. As a member of our Students’ Union, you can develop essential skills that will prepare you for the world of work, as well as being part of a community where your views and opinions matter.
Make the most of your time at college – and all of the added benefits. Take part in social events and join trips and activities to theatres, theme parks, sports events, and exhibitions.
Joining a college club or society is a great way to make your time at college even more rewarding. From basketball to table tennis, film to creative writing, there’s a society to suit everyone – or, if you’ve got a great idea for a club, why not start your own? The possibilities are endless.
Free bus passes are available to all students who meet the eligibility criteria. To apply, speak to one of our friendly Student Services team.
