Advanced Apprenticeship Infrastructure Technician
Overview
An Infrastructure Technician provides support to internal and external customers by using tools to problem solve, troubleshoot non-routine problems and set people up on systems. This apprenticeship covers technical competencies, technical knowledge and understanding and underpinning skills, attitudes and behaviours.
Course description
This apprenticeship has been designed to meet the needs of employers to either up-skill their workforce or recruit new talent. The Level 3 Infrastructure Technician Apprenticeship Standard consists of the Infrastructure Technician Standard, Functional Skills Level 2 maths and English and 5 knowledge modules or vendor/professional qualifications.
On completion of this apprenticeship, you will be allowed entry onto the register of IT Technicians.
You will complete an End Point Assessment where you will provide a summative portfolio, synoptic project, employer reference and attend an interview with an independent assessor.
