Overview

This BTEC qualification is ideal for anyone wishing to begin a career in IT, but have little or no experience of IT or computing. It will give you a solid foundation in the principles of IT such as spreadsheets and word processing and is a great base from which to develop your knowledge and skills.

Course description

You will study in our dedicated IT workshops, kitted out with all the latest computers and software that you will need to become a professional in the IT industry. The tutors have years of experience and they bring together theory and practice, so that you are able to develop high-level skills and knowledge. Industry visits and work experience opportunities will help you expand your learning, and to understand how to apply what you learn to a range of business sectors.
