Media and Visual Communication Diploma
This course is perfect for anyone who would like to work in the media industry. It will give you an understanding of the practical aspects of media production, including camera skills, video editing and audio production. The course is creative and hands-on. You will produce a variety of media work using up-to-date, industry standard equipment and technology such as a radio suite and a green screen.

You will learn at our Digbeth campus in the heart of Birmingham’s creative district. This is a one year course which will give you the chance to get involved in exciting projects and work experience opportunities both within the college and for external organisations.
You will experience working in video, sound and interactive digital production. You will learn and develop a broad range of digital media skills and an understanding of the production processes involved in the media products you will create. Media concepts, audience research and industry investigation support the practical areas of the course, which will allow you to make realistic media products such as short films, music videos, podcasts and TV adverts.
