IRWIN Tools, manufacturers and distributers of professional grade hand tools, recently chose the Construction Centre at the Bordesley Green campus of South & City College Birmingham as the backdrop for their latest photoshoot.
IRWIN were looking for a multi-trade location for the latest photoshoot to capture images to use across their marketing collateral. When they visited the college, they realised it was the perfect location, with an amazing set-up.
Bob Howlett, Faculty Head for Technology & Construction Studies said, “The two day shoot was a great success and a number of workshop locations were used. We got the chance to see some innovations in tool development, not yet launched in the UK and IRWIN left a range of tools for use by our students. A big thank you to IRWIN Tools and to Rave the organisers, we hope to welcome you back next time you are looking for a venue.”
Partnership projects like this are of great benefit to South & City College students, as they get access to the latest tool technology, meaning that they are more site-ready, which puts them ahead in the job market.
Marina Chernova, Brand Manager IRWIN, added, “South & City College Birmingham, Bordesley Green Campus, was the perfect setting for IRWIN Tool’s latest photoshoot.
The facilities at the College were very impressive and they provided the perfect setting to shoot a variety of IRWIN’s tools within a working environment. The staff and everyone we encountered at the College were incredibly helpful and friendly. Hopefully there will be more opportunities to work together in the future.”
